Bespoke Cake Design by Iced Magic

Chris the owner and designer at Iced Magic specialises in designing and creating spectacular wedding cakes which are sure to be the focal point and often the talking point at wedding receptions.

Chris works closely with each couple to design a cake which will fit the couples’ theme, colour scheme and taste. Cupcake towers, Vintage wedding cakes, and hand painted cakes are all very popular at the moment, and her fabulous fantasy castle wedding cakes continue to wow both her happy clients and all their guests.

As a degree level designer Chris is never stuck for ideas and loves to interpret her client’s thoughts, ideas and elements from their wedding to create an edible masterpiece. With her wealth of experience Chris often uses past Iced Magic creations to explain how she can create a cake which will fulfil her client’s wildest dreams.

Iced magic attends a large number of wedding shows every year and so there are lots of opportunities to meet Chris and sample her cakes. Iced Magic’s stand is always easy to spot with its stunning display of bespoke cakes.

Use an experienced Photographer

When you are ready to book your wedding photographer ideally you will employ the services of someone who has experience and knowledge of weddings.

It is important to feel confident and at ease with your Photographer as the photos will provide a lasting and cherished reminder of your special day. If you have a good 'working' relationship with the person behind the lens it will reflect in the resulting photos.

It is advisable to meet with the photographer before the day to discuss which style/s of photography are to be used. A combination of styles can be used during the day, from traditional to documentary.

Research before you book

Take some time to research those services you intend using for your wedding day - services such as photographers, wedding car hire companies, florists, caterers etc. Check out venues for the ceremony and reception.  (Often a venue will cater for both - as well as the evening party)

You may of course intend enlisting the help of a wedding co-ordinator who will do all the research for you. They will have many contacts in the wedding industry.

Convey your requirements clearly to those you wish to use and book the services that give you confidence (not necessarily the best price).

Thank-you Cards

Make sure you remember the thank-you letters.
If possible, write the cards as you receive the gifts as this will certainly save you time following the wedding. This should also ensure you thank the correct person for each gift item.

Bakos Boutique specialise in outfits suitable for the mothers of the Bride and Groom. One of our collections is made to order, making this extra special for the ladies who like something unique.

Our extensive collection of hats comes in an array of colours, to buy or hire. We also offer a bespoke service, colouring matching the hat to the outfit. This service can take several weeks so please make sure you order early to avoid disappointment.

Bakos Boutique also has an amazing collection of bridesmaid’s dresses and cute little flower girls. They come in a tremendous range of colours – also very different from the high street chains. They normally take 12 weeks but we can offer a rush order if needed.

We stock an exclusive range of fabulous Prom, Evening, Party and Cocktail dresses. Fantastic colours and our prom promise… We will not sell the same dress to another girl at the same school, not even in a different colour. So if you would like a Classic look or Hollywood glam we have them all.
